I have had my Big Ear headphones for almost 1 year. I have been praising these since after the first week I wore them. I use them for when riding my Streetbike to listen to MP3's . They are fantastic and after the Bike and my Helmet .. they are my Favorite piece of riding gear. I use them almost EVERY day and they are fantastic. I did recently have a problem with one of them that stopped working. I got them back to Ted and he sent them in for a repair. It did take a few weeks to get them back I was in agony missing them but they are fixed and workig great again. Sending them in for repair just remnded me how much I enjoy them. I feel they are worth EVERY Dollar I spent on them. If you value your Hearing and the quality of the music you enjoy .. Get a pair now. I continue to praise them to ALL my Friends .. The ONLY negative is they are a bit expensive. However .. They are a fine example of 'you get what you pay for' Thanks for the great product ..

Money very well spent. I ride a '03 Heritage which, of course has no stereo. I tried Bose Ear Buds and Griffin 'not related' Ear Buds. First of all, both of those hurt my ears after a while, not from sound but the fit. The Big Ear product was much more than I expected. The comfort is certainaly there. But, best of all, you ain't ready for the sound. Plus it drownds out all other noise. I don't wear them for in town driving cause I need to hear car horns and such. I'd reccomend this product. to anyone. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, wait 'til you use them on an airplain. The're the bomb 'no pun intended'.

I purchased a pair of your motorcycle ear plugs at the Sturgis, SD bike rally last year in 2007. Ann-Marie was an absolutely awesome sales-woman. She answered all my questions thoroughly and completely. After receiving them in the mail in about 6-8 weeks, I tried them out and couldn't believe the exceptional sound quality from such a small device. I had purchased another pair of 'custom made' ear plugs at the Sturgis Rally a few years earlier, and was never satisfied with that companies product. Was very uncomfortable to wear either with or without my helmet. Big Ear's product on the other hand, am 200% satisfied; in fact, they fit so well and are so comfortable, I tend to forget that I'm wearing them. And the stereo sound is totally AWESOME!!! These are by far the BEST ear plugs I have ever personally used. They're worth every cent paid, and then some. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for the best quality "custom-made" ear plug on the market today. Seriously doubt that better could be found anywhere else.

I have had these for about a year. My main use is motorcycle bike to bike radio,gps,mp3 and rider to passenger com. I cannot express how clear and easy these have made conversations and music. One feature is that you can greatly reduce the volume on your system,allowing in some of the background noise so you can hear your surroundings. You no longer have to drown out the outside enviroment! Also these fit nicely under my helmet and are very comfortable all day long. Also as bonus they are great on planes or whenever you just need a little quiet time.

The Big Ear is the best.I purchesed 2 pair for my wife and I, from Ann Marie. We have a 2006 Roadking and we cruise to Rocky Piont, Mexico all the time.On the hwy at 70 plus mph and the Ipod is crystal clear. We had these for about 1 year use them all the time. I had a little issue with one of our Big Ears sent them in for repair due to my fault you guys repaired them and sent them back to me in about 3 weeks under warranty. Well, we finally took them out on the road tonight. What a pleasure. The intercom was fantastic, the IPod was even better, but even the radio was as clear as a bell! The wife's comment was this is the best gift you ever gave me. I can hear everything, and I don't have to holler so you can hear me on the intercom! Even the road and bike noise is hardly noticable!
She wasn't sure about it when we went to get the mold made, and she was really concerned about the cost, especially if she didn't like them. Well no worries now, she loves them!
They are great just tooling around the city streets, but at highway speeds they are even better. This is a great product, and it is worth every penny. Now we can both enjoy the music, and still have a pleasant conversation without having to slow down our speech, and exaggerate the enounciation of each word!

My wife ( has her own ride), bought both the standard plugs and the stero plugs several years ago. She has done nothing but brag about how great these plugs are since she got them at a national rally in Billings Mt.. We come back to the Mainland for summer riding so I rode 300 miles in a total down pour to purchase mine. Best decesion I've made in a long time. I can listen to my I-pod at 50% of the volume I used before, and I can wear the plugs all day without irritation. Now, my ears don't ring at night when we finish a long day of riding.

Ever since I bought my ipod, I have struggled with finding a comfortable pair of ear plugs. I spent dollar after dollar trying to find a ear plug that fit WITHOUT hurting. My husband told me that he seen this booth at the Chicago bike show, where they form this plastic in your ear to make ear plugs. When we came upon the booth at the Bike Week in Daytona, we jumped at the chance to check it out. My husband purchased the safety ear plugs, he works in construction and needed them to save his hearing. Me on the other hand, seen the ear plugs for the ipod and there was no stopping me. I listened to the sample CD player at the booth, I couldn't believe the quality and the tonal range I get when I wear the Big Ear custom ear plugs. The price was steep, but after all the money I wasted, I knew my search for the most comfortable ear plugs was OVER.
Once I recieved the ear plugs in the mail, they fit wonderfully, the only problem is that when I am wearing them, if someone wants to speak to me, they have to tap me on the shoulder to get my attention. Even at a low setting, the quality is out of this world.

The first time I saw this product was at a booth on my last trip to Sturgis. I had been looking for ear plugs that would help surpress the noise of the wind and my bike when riding longer distances, but even though these seemed the perfect fit, I just did not want to spend that kind of money. As I was traveling back home I thought to myself, "I should have bought those Big Ears". When I saw the booth later that summer at Street Vibrations in Reno, I did not hesitate to get myself fit for them. When they showed up and I went for my first ride I knew I bought the right product. I have had my ear plugs for nearly a year now. I can't say enough about them. I was getting frustrated with regular ear phones to try and listen to my MP3 player while riding my motorcycle. I wear a full face helment and every time that I would try to wear regular ear phones they would just get raked out of my ear and I would have to turn up the volume to barely hear it. Now I don't have that problem and only turn up volume to about 2 clicks past mute to hear it but still hear necessary noise. I would also like to say a great big thank you for Chrissy and your crew for a quick turn around time for repair of one of my earpieces after I stepped on it. We had planned a 3000 mile ride to and around Colorado. It sure helped the ride be more pleasant.

I have ridden over 9,000 mi this season wearing my Big Ear BE-1c's. They deliver the perfect combination of great protection, rivaling the best expanding foam plugs, and sound quality. In fact, I frequently wear them at the gym because they eliminate the background and stay put. It's is difficult to explain how good recordings sound when played with the environmental noise gone.
I do recommend taking the time to visit a dealer for the fitting. They provide a high quality fitting in a relaxed atmosphere.

Bought these over a year ago - originally for the bike only. The are the safest way to enjoy music on the bike as they don't require high volume because they block out all wind. I use them without music often simply as ear plugs - they are more comfortable. Now I use them as my music ear buds even off the bike. Excellent product, very happy with them.

I purchase the BE-1C at the Wisconsin HOG Rally in June '08. Perhaps the best single "accesory" I've purchased for my bike. I use them to listen to my MP3 player when riding, and with either my half helmet or full face the sound is awesome.
The music is crisp and clear at volumes low enough to allow you to still hear background noices.
They are simply amazing.

I bought my BIG EAR plugs in 2007 at the National HOG Rally in Knoxville, TN. I use them when riding my Softail Deuce to listen to my iPod. I love how they block the wind and the outside road noise. Sometimes I wear them and don't even hook to the music. I also work at a NASCAR track on the safety team. I was able to find a headset with mike that they plug into for our radios which allows me to not have to wear the heavy, hot headphone set that you see on NASCAR officials and team members. Way to go BIG EAR!!

I've been riding my cruiser for three years now. A friend suggested that I get the stereo headphone ear plugs and I agreed. BEST purchase of any kind besides my motorcycle in my life. The wind noise dampening / audio quality is perfect. It makes riding more comfortable and enjoyable and I know my hearing is being protected from loud road noise.
Now for the product itself. Fit and comfort, high. Sound quality, high. Durability, medium. The cord is thin and delicate, and the connection to the earpiece is frail. I just sent them back (after 2 years of almost continuous use, mind you) to the factory to have what I believe is a loose connection between cord and earpiece.

I had mouldings done at the Big Ear tent during Bike Week at Daytona back in '07. I had been putting off ordering the earplugs because I was a bit short of cash, until now. Since I got them they have become a permanent part of my riding gear, especially on long trips. I love listening to the noise of my Harley's engine booming away but on a long trip the wind noise can get a little tedious. I can now listen to some decent rock music whilst riding my bike. Very pleased with the earplugs, wish I had got them earlier. I would highly recommend them.

These are the way to go. I have had my Big Ear stereo earphones for a couple of years now. I love them. I tried the Shure model which sounded OK but they hurt my ears to wear them very long. My Big Ears are comfortable. I recently went a 5,000 motorcycle trip and wore them all day, every day and they were comfortable to wear. Oh! I almost forgot, they sound better than the Shures.
